MEASUREMENTS


Measurements are used to determine the best dress size. Most gowns will need alterations.
They may need to be hemmed if you are shorter than 5'10" including your heels.
They may need to be taken in or let out on the sides.
The gown may have to be taken up at the shoulders or waistline if you are short wasted.
Sleeves may have to be adjusted.

 Measure over cups (largest area) and evenly around back.
Waist:

 1" ABOVE belly button (thinnest part of the body)
Hips:

 The widest part of the hips, usually 7"-9" below waist.
Height:

 Your height should include your heels.
Average Dress Size:

 The size formal dress or jeans that fits you comfortably.

ADDITIONAL FEES would result from:

  1. Gaining or losing weight.
  2. Improper measurements taken.
  3. Not trying the same brand name gown on in your size when taking your measurements.
  4. Anyone shorter or taller than 5'10" depending on how long the company makes the dress.
  5. RUSH FEES, when you do not allow the normal time it takes to make the gown.
  6. SIZE FEES, when companies charge extra on larger size dresses. except Forever Yours who has same price for all sizes
  7. EXTRA LENGTH fees, when the gown has to be made longer than it is usually made.
  8. SHAWLS, if not in photo with the gown, will run an additional $25.00 - $50.00.
